about

While experimenting on the keyboard, a familiar note from Nirvana's "Polly" caught my attention. At first, I couldn't place the song, but its significance was clear. As I delved deeper and uncovered its powerful backstory, the weight of its narrative gripped me.

This rendition deviates from my norm, offering a darker take on an already profound track. I hope you appreciate this unique perspective.

lyrics

[Verse 1]
Polly wants a cracker
I think I should get off her first
I think she wants some water
To put out the blow torch

[Chorus]
Isn't me, have a seed
Let me clip, dirty wings
Let me take a ride, cut yourself
Want some help, please myself
Got some rope, have been told
Promise you, have been true
Let me take a ride, cut yourself
Want some help, please myself

[Verse 2]
Polly wants a cracker
Maybe she would like some food
She asked me to untie her
A chase would be nice for a few

[Chorus]
Isn't me, have a seed
Let me clip, dirty wings
Let me take a ride, cut yourself
Want some help, please myself
Got some rope, have been told
Promise you, have been true
Let me take a ride, cut yourself
Want some help, please myself

about

Baldor & The Euclidean Functions Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

This project is based around DAWless experimentation. All the music is composed, and performed on a modular synthesizer, and recorded into a two track recorder. There is no other parameter, no constraints. The joy of exploration and play. Like a child.
